MEDIA-support for demo of Nintendo Wii game

2008-09-25

Today we received confirmation of support from the MEDIA-program to our first step towards expanding our universes to video game consoles. Based on the universe of KIWI & STRIT, we will develop a demo of a Nintendo Wii game together with Danish computer game developer Digital Out A/S. The game has a target audience of 3-6 year olds, same as the film CARSTEN & GITTE'S MOVIE MADNESS, where Kiwi & Strit first met their audience.

CEO Sarita Christensen : Receiving this support is a great opportunity for Copenhagen Bombay. We have been confirmed that our universes can go from film to original games, where Nintendo Wii already has proven that they can bring families together and even young children can participate. We have an ambition to create a product that also can reach the international market, and we're currently looking for partners that have specialized in this.
