Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Technical Artist to bolster our technical department. If you’re someone who enjoys diving into the nitty-gritty of production issues and working collaboratively, this might be the role for you. This position does not allow for full remote work.

What you will be doing:

• Provide support to our teams, ensuring production runs smoothly
• Handle a mix of technical challenges, from general to software-specific.
• Work closely with our Technical Director, sharing insights and ideas that can influence and improve the pipeline.
• Contribute in your area of expertise, both in day-to-day production and in our R&D efforts.

• Finding new ways to improve existing workflows.
• Developing pipeline tools or concepts
• Technical overview of production
• Proactively anticipate challenges ahead
• Writing processes’ and production documentation

Prefered Skills and Experience:

• A good understanding of 3D and/or 2D animation productions.
• Scripting: We mainly use Python, but if you know JavaScript and PySide, that’s a bonus.
• A basic 3D generalist knowledge ( modelling, rigging, light , shading, texturing)
• Compositing experience 3D & 2D (Node based or AE )

• Autodesk Maya
• Familiar with the adobe package (Photoshop/AfterEffects/Premiere)
• BlackMagic Fusion
• ToonBoom Harmony
• Thinkbox Deadline
